Although you may be wary of renovations, sometimes a home needs a major update or overhaul; the existing layout no longer works for your family, or you bought a home or condo in a prime location, but it’s outdated with golden oak throughout. Interior designer Suzan Wemlinger wants to help you love where you live, and she knows the path it takes to get there. Suzan will identify and discuss any renovations that could impact your way-of-life and increase the value of your home.

A renovation is a process and starts with a visit to your home. We walk through and discuss everything from seating arrangements to traffic flow, just as we do for a design with no renovations. We then go in-depth, and look at the areas that aren’t working for you – a wall that needs to be opened up, or a dated kitchen with a poor floor plan, old cabinets, awkward eating area – or a bathroom with an over-sized jetted tub that is used not for bathing but for storing your yoga mat and exercise equipment. Once the pain areas are identified, we discuss the wants and needs, style, timeline and budget, then bring the trades in to understand the scope of the project and submit all of the cost proposals.

One benefit of entrusting Suzan Wemlinger with your renovation and interior design project is her experience. She has received over twenty awards for her design work, including winning Decorator of the Year twice.  Suzan says, “I love it when a client tells me two years later that they still love what we did for them.”
