Project Overview:

Sometimes the master bedroom is the last room that is addressed when renovating a home. The importance of having an elegant and luxurious bedroom can’t be stressed enough; too often this crucial element is overlooked when planning a renovation. A space to recharge after a long day will go far in getting you ready for the next day.

Chicago bedroom

Suzan J Designs started with a fabulous wallpaper on one wall. A charming upholstered bed, with a gray distressed painted finish, anchored that wall. A simple linen duvet with crocheted edges, and a few select pillows, completed the bed. One gray painted dresser had a decorative mirror placed above it for a wow factor. A storage dresser and nightstands painted in a creamy distressed finish gave the room a collected vibe and offered additional storage.

The custom draperies had lavender, with gray, cream and yellow accents, and a gray velvet chair was placed in a corner for nighttime reading. New crown molding and a fabulous chandelier completed the haven that this couple sought for their master bedroom.
