Principal interior designer, Suzan Wemlinger, offers high quality interior design products. Her design firm, Suzan J Designs, offer items that are often custom and usually to the trade only. This assures you that your room will not have a cookie cutter design, but be one that is created just for you. While we do have a studio downtown and welcome the opportunity to present your designs there, we most often bring our design boards and samples to the most convenient showroom in the world — your home. That way we can select the colors and textures right there in your space. This helps to guide our design and product decisions.

A custom approach

Our association with the franchise group Decorating Den Interiors has given our company access to many big names in the design industry that a designer working alone would not be able to access. Our design team also likes to find local artisans to work with who give us the high end looks our clients want to achieve.

We are involved with many renovation projects, bathrooms and kitchens being the most popular. All the products used in this kind of work are sourced by the Suzan J Design’s team. This includes everything from the furniture to the bath fixtures, and beyond.

If there are no renovations involved in your project you will still need paint, flooring, wall coverings, upholstered furniture, fine furniture, rugs, custom window treatments, blinds and shades, lighting, soft furnishings, art and accessories.

If our trusted vendors don’t have what we’re looking for, we source suppliers locally.

Suzan J Designs serves Downtown Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. This includes Bayside, Brookfield, Hartland, Historic Third Ward, River Hills, Mequon, Oconomowoc, Walker’s Point, East Town, and Beaver Lake (Town of Merton.
